NUJ DBS WARRI CHAPEL TRAINS JOURNALISTS IN WARRI ON EFFECTIVE COVERAGE OF 2027 GENERAL ELECTIONS Warri- The Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta Broadcasting Service (DBS) Warri Chapel, on Tuesday June 23rd 2026 organized a one-day capacity-building training programme aimed at enhancing journalists' preparedness for the coverage of the 2027 General Elections. The training, held at the Governor's Office Annex in Warri, brought together members of the union and other media practitioners from across the state. The programme focused on promoting ethical journalism, professionalism, and responsible election reporting. NUJ DBS WARRI CHAPEL HOLDS TRAINING TO ENHANCE JOURNALISTS' CAPACITY FOR CREDIBLE 2027 ELECTION COVERAGE Warri- The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta Broadcasting Service (DBS) Warri Chapel, has announced plans to organise a training programme aimed at enhancing the capacity of journalists for professional and credible coverage of the 2027 General Elections. The training, themed "Strengthening Professional Journalism for Credible Election Coverage," is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. According to a statement jointly signed by the Chairman of the Chapel, Comrade John Glover, and the Secretary, Comrade Ogheneruona Oyibo, the programme will commence at 11:00 a.m. at the Main Hall of the Government House Annex, Warri. MULADE DEMANDS N5 BILLION DAMAGES FROM NDC OVER ALLEGED SUBSTITUTION OF PRIMARY ELECTION VICTORY Warri – Renowned peace and development advocate, environmental rights activist, and winner of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) House of Representatives primary election for Warri Federal Constituency, Chief Sheriff Mulade, has slammed the party with a N5 billion damages claim over what he described as the unlawful substitution of his victory with an alleged appointment process.
