NDP WARRI FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY CANDIDATE VISITS OLU OF WARRI, SEEKS ROYAL BLESSING The National Democratic Party, NDP, candidate for Warri Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections, Chief Comrade Mulade Blessing Sheriff, PhD, has paid a courtesy visit to the Olu of Warri, His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III, as part of ongoing consultations ahead of the polls. Mulade, the Ibe-Serimowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom and a renowned peace advocate, used the visit to formally present his political aspiration to the revered monarch and seek royal blessings for his bid to represent Warri South, Warri North and Warri South-West Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives. NUJ DBS WARRI CHAPEL MARKS INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE WITH MESSAGES OF PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE  Warri - A heavy downpour on Monday morning of September 21, 2026 could not dampen the spirit of peace in Warri, as journalists, government officials, civil society groups and residents converged on the Edjeba premises of Delta Broadcasting Service, DBS Warri, came together to commemorate this year's International Day of Peace.  UVWIE POLITICAL STAKEHOLDERS MEET, SEEK UNITY FOR DEVELOPMENT Uvwie - Political stakeholders across party lines in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State have held an extended meeting aimed at promoting unity, peaceful coexistence and sustainable development in the area. The meeting, held on Sunday at Kenwood Hotel, Jakpa Road, Ekpan, brought together political leaders and stakeholders from different political parties, including the Commissioner for Economic Planning, Hon.  NUJ DBS WARRI CHAPEL ENDORSES COMRADE FELIX EKWU FOR NUJ DELTA STATE COUNCIL SECRETARY POSITION  The Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Delta Broadcasting Service, DBS, Warri Chapel has endorsed Comrade Felix Ekwu to contest for the position of Secretary of the NUJ Delta State Council in the forthcoming council election, slated for October 22, 2026. The endorsement followed Comrade Ekwu’s declaration of interest to contest the position at the Congress of the chapel, where members also expressed support for his aspiration.
