MULADE RAISES ALARM OVER COASTAL EROSION THREATENING OBUGURU COMMUNITY, SEEKS URGENT GOVERNMENT ACTION A prominent environmental rights activist and development advocate, Comrade Mulade Sheriff, PhD, has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and other relevant stakeholders to urgently intervene in the worsening coastal erosion threatening Obuguru Community in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State. According to the environmentalist, the call for urgent intervention has become necessary due to the severe and continuous coastal erosion ravaging Obuguru Community, an oil-bearing settlement in Ogulagha Kingdom.
