 IJAW DEVELOPMENT: GROUP LAUNCHES MOVEMENT TO ENGAGE CRITICAL STAKEHOLDERS  Warri - A socio-political group, the Ijaw Political Grassroots Development Movement (IPGDM), has been inaugurated with a mandate to constructively engage key stakeholders, especially government at all levels. The Convener and Chairman of the group, Chief Mulade Sheriff, PhD, explained that the IPGDM is committed to drawing the attention of authorities and relevant stakeholders to the persistent underdevelopment in Ijaw communities across Delta State. He noted that despite their significant economic contributions to both Delta State and the nation, many Ijaw communities still lack basic infrastructure and essential amenities. Uvwie - Women drawn from Okpe, Sapele and Uvwie OSU Federal Constituency have appealed to leaders of the All Progressives Congress APC to give their support to the aspiration of Right Honourable Evelyn Omavowan Oboroh Esq for the OSU Federal Constituency seat in the 2027 General Elections to strengthen the agreement of reserving thirty-five percent for women.
