Hon Ahwinahwi Felicitates Alhaji Atiku On His 78th Birthday Two time House of Representatives member, Hon Solomon Ahwinahwi, has congratulated former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar on his 78th birth anniversary. In his congratulatory message, Hon Ahwinahwi described Alhaji Atiku as an astute leader whose contributions towards the progress and unity of Nigeria cannot be quantified. He noted that Alhaji Atiku is a successful businessman who has employed millions of Nigerians and has contributed immensely towards the economic growth of the country. The former lawmaker noted that as a patriot and leader of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, he has confidence that Alhaji Atiku has the needed experience and requisite political know-how to reposition the country. Hon Ahwinahwi who described Alhaji Atiku as his leader and elder brother, prayed God to grant the Turaki Adamawa long life and success in all his endeavours.

LAND DEVELOPERS DECRY COLLECTION OF 'DEVE' BY YOUTHS IN AGBARHO Land developers in Agbarho Kingdom have appealed to the Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government, Olorogun Jaro Egbo, and law enforcement agents to intervene in the incessant harassment and exploitation of land developers in the kingdom. The land developers alleged that some youths parading themselves as officials of Ughelli North Council Taskforce move around building sites in Agbarho Kingdom harassing land developers and forcing them to pay the sum of three hundred thousand naira for a building permit. They alleged that the youths beat up land developers who failed to part with the said amount and vandalized their property. The land developers noted that in the past, the money paid for building permits was between forty thousand naira and seventy thousand naira, but the youths compel land developers to pay between one hundred thousand naira and three hundred thousand naira.
