A youth leader and mobilizer in Delta state, Comrade, Ambassador Aken E. Edwin says Governor Ifeanyi Okowa's administration in the past six years in office has positively impacted Deltans, changing lives of many youths across the state.

Amb. Aken E. Edwin stated this at the weekend while speaking on the sixth swearing in inauguration anniversary of Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa and Barr. Deacon Kingsley Otuaro as Governor and Deputy Governor of Delta State at the state capital Asaba.


"Governor Ifeanyi Okowa is a youth friendly and gender sensitive leader, who has through the STEP and YAGEP programs, trained many youths and given them starter packs to become self reliant and financially independent youths.


Comrade Edwin Aken who is also a Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Development equally lauded the Delta State Goverment for it's giant strides in the educational sector.

"The upgrade of three polytechnics to universities status, the building of technical colleges across the state, construction/rehabilitation/renovation of secondary and primary schools across the state is a testament of the love Dr Ifeanyi Okowa have for the youths in the state" he stated.


On sports development in the state, Amb. Aken scored Governor Ifeanyi Okowa high, saying his attention to sport activities within the state, building of the Stephen ketchen stadium and projections of rehabilitation and construction of other mini stadiums are good sense of development and love for his people.


Amb. Aken also said, the governor Ifeanyi Okowa's 1million naira promise to the athletes during the Edo 2020 inspired the Delta State Contingent to victory.


On security he said Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has not relented in curbing internal and external security challenges, specifically his timely response to communal criss within the state has saved lives and properties in the affected local government areas of the State.


On leadership, Amb. Aken said Governor Okowa has shown leadership capacity in all ramifications to the seen of Deltans, Nigerians and Africans at large, saying his intellectuality in administration is one to none.

Positive minded youths of Delta State will always hang their antennas to collect wisdom, knowledge, ideas and strategic planning Technics from our amiable Governor in preparation for the future" he posited.


Amb. Aken use the medium to appreciate and encourage all Deltans, especially the youths to continually give the needed support to the Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa led administration to enable us achieve vision stronger delta.


He also encourage Governor  Ifeanyi Okowa and his deputy Kinsly burutu Otuaro to keep on doing their infrastructural and human capital development to make our state an enviable one among others as we celebrate them in their 6th year in office.

Comrade Amb. Aken E. Edwin who expressed optimism that Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and his Deputy Governor Barr. Deacon Kingsley Otuaro are indeed going to finish strong, he wished them God's grace, strength, divine direction and wisdom as they govern the state.
