SYLVESTER OROMONI CONGRATULATES GOV IFEANYI OKOWA AND HIS DEPUTY DEACON KINGSLEY OTUARO ON THEIR 6th SWEARING IN INAUGURATION ANNIVERSARY

A prominent Ijaw Leader in the state, Mr Sylvester Oromoni has congratulated the Delta State Governor Dr Ifeanyi Okowa and his Deputy Deacon Kingsley Otuaro as they celebrate their sixth years swearing in inauguration anniversary as Governor and Deputy Governor of the state.

This was contained in a congratulatory message by Mr Sylvester Oromoni on his verify social media platforms and made available to newsmen in Warri.

Mr Sylvester Oromoni who is the Chairman Task Force On Environment described the six years administration of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as one that has ushered in prosperity and all round sustainable growth and progress across the twenty five local government areas of the state.

"There is no local government in Delta State that you will not felt the presence of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa's administration" he said.

"On environment the Delta State Government led by the pragmatic leadership of Dr Ifeanyi Okowa through the Task Force On Environment I headed, has been able to enforce the beautification exercise in Warri and other cities across the state" he noted.

"As the Chairman Task Force On Environment, the state government has empowered us to enforce a clean environment as well as sustain the aesthetic beauty of the state" he disclosed.

He equally lauded Governor Ifeanyi Okowa in tackling the issue of perennial flooding in the state capital Asaba.

The Ijaw Leader maintained that in spite of the paucity of funds occasioned by the fall in crude oil prices and the ravaging coronavirus pandemic, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has been able to pilot the affairs of the state on the path of sustainable peace, progress and development.

He however on behalf of himself and the Task Force On Environment wished Gov Okowa to finish strong come 2023.
