Prince Obie Hails Gov. Okowa for appointing Bozimo as Commissioner

A chiftain of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP from Bomadi Local Government Area and Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Security Matter,  Prince Godwin Obie has hailed Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for appointing an illustrious son of Bomadi LGA, Hon Isaiah Bozimo Esq as a Commissioner and Member of the State Executive Council.


Prince Obie while speaking with Newsmen  at Asaba shortly after the swearing in ceremony of the Commissioners, described Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as a detribalized leader who has displayed expertise and professionalism in his appointments in order to actualize his Stronger Delta Agenda.


The SSA to Gov Okowa on Security Matters explained that, Governor Okowa has demonstrated love and solidarity with riverine dwellers in his choice of projects and appointments noting that it is on record that he remains the only Governor who has extended development projects to riverine communities in the state.

Prince Obie congratulated the new Commissioner Hon Isaiah Bozimo  describing him as an erudite lawyer and technocrat who is a son of foremost Ijaw leader and former Minister of Police Affairs, Alaowei Broderick Bozimo.


He expressed confidence that, Hon Isaiah Bozimo Esq. with his wealth of experience and noble background will perform excellently well in whatever capacity and Ministry deemed fit by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.

Prince Obie disclosed that, as a Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Security Matters, he will continue to work with security agents and relevant stakeholders in ensuring peace and security in his area of operation noting that peace is a necessary tool for the successful implementation of the Stronger Delta Agenda of the State Government.

He called on Deltans to sustain their support for Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, inorder to enjoy more dividends of democracy.
