.... CHIEF FAVOUR IZOUKUMOR CELEBRATES WITH GOV OKOWA AND ALL DELTANS ON THE STATE 30TH ANNIVERSARY CREATION

As Delta State marks thirty years of its creation from the then Bendel State on August 27 1991 during the administration of General Ibrahim Babangida, a critical stakeholder in the state, Chief Favour Izoukumor has joined illustrious Deltans to celebrate with the Governor of the state H.E Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, his Deputy H.E Barrister Deacon Kingsley Otuaro and all Deltans in the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the state.

Chief Favour Izoukumor congratulatory message on Delta @30 signed by his aide on media, Mrs Jolomi Pajiah was made available to newsmen in Warri.


Chief Favour Izoukumor who has served the state at different capacities in the and currently serving the People's Democratic Party PDP as its Chairman for Warri South West Council Area said that Delta State since its creation thirty years ago has witnessed some forms of growth and development.



He added that much still needed to be done and therefore lauded Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for his giant proactive efforts in advancing the state on the path of rapid growth.



" Delta State since carved out from the defunct Bendel State has recorded growth in the education sector, healthcare, infrastructure, human empowerments, sports, and the entertainment industry" he added.


On the issue of peaceful coexistence among the various ethnic nationalities in the state, Chief Favour Izoukumor stated that in spite of the dispute something among the different tribes in the state, the state has enjoyed relative peace.

He however expressed optimism that Delta State which is blessed with both human and natural resources will become an enviable state in the country under the leadership of Gov Ifeanyi Okowa
