THE PEOPLE OF ISABA KINGDOM POSITIONS ON THE SUCCESSOR TO THE VACANT REVERED STOOL OF ISABA KINGDOM.
Some concerned stakeholders in Isaba Kingdom Captain Ebiye Sibe, Prince Emmanuel Sekoindi, Mr Principal Sibede and Mr John Ogbogiren have appealed to the Delta State Governor Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, his Deputy Barrister Deacon Kingsley Otuaro, the Commissioner of Police and all relevant authorities to do the wade into the kingship tussle in the land so as to allow for the proper processes in the installation of a Pere Designate.
Captain Ebiye Sibe, Prince Emmanuel Sekoindi, Mr Principal Sibede and Mr John Ogbogiren convene their appeal via a Press Release made available to newsmen in Warri concerning the stand of the Isaba people as regards the selection of the next Pere to succeed HRM Ogiame, Pere Donokoromo 11 JP who transited to join his ancestors in 2018.
They noted that no Successor to the vacant exalted throne of Isaba kingdom has been selected by the great people of Isaba Kingdom as well as the oracle of the land.
They expressed their displeasure over the announcement on some media stations concerning a new Isaba Pere Designate, adding that no individual or group of individuals have the sole right to announce Pere Designate without following due processes.
The Isaba concerned stakeholders added that the throne of Isaba kingdom is not political but purely traditional as it as being since 1480.
They emphasized that Isaba as a kingdom has a laid down custom and traditional laws as well as due processes a Pere Successor should undergo before ascending the exalted throne of the ancient Isaba Kingdom in Warri South West Council Area of Delta State, Nigeria.
The Isaba concerned stakeholders are however optimistic that the Delta State Governor Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, his Deputy Barrister Deacon Kingsley Otuaro and all relevant authorities will do the needful to put an end to the wrongful selection of a Pere.
