.....OGBE IJOH WARRI TRADITIONAL COUNCIL MOURNS



 Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Traditional Council in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State, has announced the death of one of its leaders and clergyman, Evangelist Samson Youkere Mamamu.

A statement Signed by Chairman Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Traditional Council, Chief John Ajemitolu says Evangelist Mamamu was a prominent Chief in Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom who distinguished himself in service of God and humanity passed on in the early hours of Friday, 10th September,2021. 


It explained that, the late Evangelist was the founder of God's Ministry International Incorporated a Church domiciled in new Ogbe-Ijoh Salvation City.


It adds that, Evangist Mamamu was the Toru-Ibediwei of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri traditional council and a former Regent of the Kingdom.


It also says Evangelist was a three times Chairman of Ijaw National Congress (INC) of Western Zone and member of the Presidential Reconciliation Committee under President Olusegun Obasanjo during the wake of the infamous Warri crisis.


It further says Evangelist  Mamamu was also the leader of Elders Council of Odidi Federated Communities , Ajuju community and a leader of OML 42 Host Communities.


It adds that, Evangelist Mamamu held several other positions within and outside Delta State and a recipient of a Honourary Doctorate Degree, United Nations, UN,  Ambassador for Peace and other numerous awards.

It says his Burial arrangements will be announced later.
