REMAINS OF MADAM EBIKESEIYE CHRISTIANA MULADE NEE TIMIYAN LAID TO REST AT KOKODIAGBENE COMMUNITY
The remains of late madam Ebikeseiye Christiana Mulade nee Timiyan mother to a notable environmental justice crusader Chief Sheriff Mulade was at the weekend laid to rest at her country home in Kokodiagbene community of Gbaramatu Kingdom in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State.
Correspondent reports that top personalities from the mass media, oil and gas industry, some of the Gbaramatu council of Chiefs, community leaders amongst others were all on ground to paid their last respect to Madam Ebikeseiye Christiana Mulade.
The final journey to rest of late madam Ebikeseiye Christiana Mulade started from Veenell Hospital Mortuary Warri to her home town in Kokodiagbene community of Gbaramatu Kingdom in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State.
One of the officiating minister at the funeral service Bishop Samson Abuta in his sermon on death said that late Mulade was a woman that served God.
He equally admonished all to live a life that glorify God and impact humanities while on earth.
The eldest son to the deceased, Chief Sheriff Mulade in a glowing tribute described his mother as the Amazon of the Mulades' Dynasty who raised her children with love and the fear of God.
Chief Mulade who is also the Country Director of a renown Non Governmental Organization, the Center For Peace and Environmental Justice CEPEJ added that him and his siblings are going to miss their mother in so many ways.
He however expressed appreciation to all who have joined him and his family to bid final farewell to their lovely mom.
Some sympathizers who spoke to Newsmen including the General Manager of Delta Broadcasting Service DBS Warri Pastor Malcolm Oteri represented by Pastor Patrick Edema, the Kokodiagbene Community Chairman Comrade Pedro Bekenawei, Mr Amos Okoro, Mr Monday Zorab amongst others called on the Mulades'family to take solace in the Lord, knowing too well that their mother lived a good life.
They equally implored the children to emulate the good legacies of their mother.
Late Madam Ebikeseiye Christiana Mulade who was passed on to eternal glory on the 27 of October 2021 at aged 66 was survived by children, grandchildren, family members.
