Umiaghwa-Abraka kingdom gets Okanoje
The custom and tradition of the people is preserved when it is uphold by the people to move from generation to generation.
The Ovie of Umiaghwa- Abraka kingdom HRM (AVM) Lucky Ochuko Ararile Avwaeke1 has installed Chief Paul Aghwana The Izeh of Abraka kingdom and Chief (Dr) Emmanuel Okonoko the Uchoma of Abraka kingdom as the Okanoje and Deputy Okanoje respectively.
The installation which took place at the Umiaghwa Abraka multi-purpose hall Oria -Abraka during a meeting with the four quarters of the kingdom.
Describing the position of the Okanoje as the third in hierarchy in the Umiaghwa-Abraka kingdom, HRM (AVM) Lucky Ochuko Ararile Avwaeke 1 stated that the position was given to chief Paul Aghwana and chief Emmanuel Okonoko as being the most senior chief and their immense contribution to the development of Umiaghwa - Abraka kingdom.
Avwaeke 1 called on Chief Aghwana and Chief Okonoko to use their new position to unite the four quarters In Umiaghwa-Abraka kingdom for the overall good of sons and daughters of the kingdom.
Avwaeke 1 enjoined the indigenes to continue to be peaceful so to attract investment to the kingdom.
Reacting to their elevation as third and fourth in the hierarchy of administration in Umiaghwa -Abraka kingdom, Chief Paul Aghwana and Chief Emmanuel Okonoko stated their desire to attract and build bridges of love in Umiaghwa- Abraka kingdom. They described HRM (AVM) Lucky Ochuko Ararile Avwaeke 1 as peace loving noting that his reign has brought about growth and development to the kingdom.
The four quarters of the kingdom were all in attendance during the event.
