AWANA KIDS EXPERIENCE: PARENTS AND GUARDIANS IMPLORE TO DISCIPLINE AND NURTURE THEIR KIDS AND WARDS IN THE WORD OF GOD

Parents have been admonished to guide their children and wards in the fear of God so as to bring out the best in them as they grow to become adults in society.

These were the advise of various speakers during the Awana Kids Experience 2021.

The occasion has “Children Working for the Kingdom” as its theme.

The ceremony organized by Great Grace Chapel, Warri featuring singing Choreography, Recitation, Sword drill competition, Awards and Scholarship.

Children at the Awana Kids Experience 2021 got everyone especially their parents and guardians trilled with artistry and skills on display during the quiz competition and other side attractions.

The children took turn to show case their knowledge of the bible and in their innocence captivated the heart of spectators.

In his sermon, Pastor Joshua Steven encouraged the children to follow the teachings of God and remain committed to God’s work.

Pastor Steven maintained that children must remember to enthrone the kingdom of God by their deliberate and intentional propagation of God’s work on earth.

He tasked the children to be obedient to their parents and make their bible their friend.

The Chief host Bishop Vwede Abiye Sibi and Host Mrs Kparobo noted that the Awana Bible Club is a vision conceived by mother Right Reverend Beauty Okah to catch the children young, nurturing them in the love and knowledge of God.

They hinted that the movement is to win the children over to God while teaching them to have God’s knowledge in the days of their youth in order for them to become successful men and women in the society.

Some of the children including a little Refeka who sand shared their experience and what they have learnt at the Awana Kids Experience 2021.

Highpoint of the occasion was scholarships and award presentation as well as presentation of food items to children by Bishop Vwede Abiye Sibi.
