ROTARY CLUB OF SAPELE GATEWAY ORGANIZES FAMILY OF ROTARY END OF THE YEAR PARTY IN GRAND STYLE

In the spirit of the yuletide, rotary club of  Sapele gateway on Thursday at Ishaka Hotel by Refinery Road Effurun in Uvwie local government area, organized a  family of rotary end of the year party to wine and dine with fellow rotarians as well as family and friends.

The District Governor of Rotary Club District  9141 Rotarian Andy Uwejeyan in his speech said that rotary as a club is committed at touching lives through selfless services to the society.

Bladenews24 correspondent also reports that the President of Rotary Club of Sapele Gateway Rotarian Happy Tosan Mene said that the event which is done at the end of the rotary year is an avenue to celebrate with family members and friends.

The 2021 family of rotary end of the year party started with the selected children participating in dance competitions, bouncing castle, as well as a surprise visit by Santa Claus to the children.

The District Governor of Rotary Club District 9141 Rotarian Andy Uwejeyan in his address said that rotary club apart from rendering services to the society also still crate out time to have fun.

Rotarian Andy Uwejeyan who stated that there are numerous benefits of being a Rotarian, commended rotary club of Sapele gateway for organizing the family party.

Speaking in a similar vein, the President of Rotary Club of Sapele Gateway Rotarian Happy Tosan Mene in an interview said that rotary club under his watch has embarked on eighteen people's oriented projects.

Rotarian Happy Tosan Mene added that rotary as a club has contributed immensely to the growth and development of Nigeria especially in eradicating polio from Nigeria thus making Nigeria a polio free nation.

For their parts, the various Rotarian President including Rotarian  Nyore Mowarin, Rotarian Macdonald Atake, Rotarian Agbafune Emeka amongst others who also spoke at the event, stated that the rotary family party is a way for fellow Rotarians to bond together.

Some of the elated children in their separate interviews said that they had a lot of fun.

The Family of rotary end of the year party featured presentation of gifts to the children, the cutting of the rotary cake as well as celebration of December celebrants.
