The Delta State Governorship Aspirant and the member representing Delta South Senatorial District in the National Assembly Senator James Manager has called on the good people of Warri Federal Constituency to support the governorship aspiration of himself an Aspirant from within rather than other Senatorial Districts.


Senator Manager's stated this on Monday when he led members of his governorship political consultations team to consult with PDP delegates in Warri North, Warri South West and Warri South local government areas of the state.


The political consultation team of Delta State Governorship Aspirant Senator James Manager to Delegates of the People's Democratic Party PDP in the Warri Federal Constituency were received by the Warri North, Warri South West and Warri South PDP Chairmen.


Senator James Manager started his speech by thanking the PDP faithful for always supporting his political ambitions in previous party primaries and the previous main elections.


The Delta State Governorship Hopeful added that after consulting with himself and his creator he is fully into the race to continue from where Governor Ifeanyi Okowa will stop come next year.


Senator James Manager who was the Pioneer Chairman of PDP Delta State added that having been one of the king makers in the state as well as one who has worked closely with the various Governors of the state since its creation, he has gathered enough experience to pilot the affairs of the state on the path of sustainable growth.


The most distinguished Senator James Manager who responded to a Governorship endorsement, described it as ruse, stressing that the primaries ticket to fly the party flag is solely determine by party delegates and not the other way.

 

He added that his administration which will consolidate on the gains of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa will focus on rural transformation, urban renewal, qualitative education, agriculture, peace and security, job creation, as well as engaging of experts that will help him in the building of a vibrant state.


On the issue of an Ijaw Governor after the tenure of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa come next year, Senator James Manager told the Warri Federal PDP faithful that he strongly believe in fairness, stressing that the Ijaws have supported an Itsekiri Son to be Governor of the state.


Responding to the governorship message of Senator James Manager, the PDP Chairmen of Warri North, Dr Isaac Wilkie, that of Warri South West Chief Favour Izoukumor and Warri South Mr Johnson Agbeyegbe assured Senator James Manager that the needful will be done on the day of the primaries.
