HYMANITY HOSPITAL EFFURUN CELEBRATES 30YEARS OF QUALITY SERVICE TO HUMANITY, MARKS WORLD HEALTH DAY.

Humanity Hospital Effurun on Thursday joined other care givers across the world to mark this year's World Health Day.


This year's World Health Day with the theme Our Planet, Our Health" coincidedi with the 30th anniversary of Humanity Hospital Effurun.

To show the importance of both days, the iviedical Director of Humanity Hospital Effurun, Dr Enoma Bazuaye-Ekwuyasi led other medical personnel of the hospital

to carry out sensitization and awareness campaigns on health issues at some strategic places in Effurun and environs which include, Effurun Market, Enerhen Market,and Enerhen Junction.

The two-day sensitization programme featured free health talk, Free sugar

Screening and free Blood Pressure Check as well as presentation of waste bins toSome communities in Effurun.


Dr Enoma Bazuaye-Ekwuyasi attributed the success of Humanity Hospital in the last 30years to the grace of God and the support of some long-term friends of the hospital as well as support of staff.



He noted that the Hospital decided to carryout humanitarian service to mark this year's World Health Day and the 30th anniversary of the hospital as a way of givingback to the society.

Chief Medical Director of the Hospital commended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for providing the Health Insurance Scheme to cater for the health needs of Deltans andurged Deltans to key into it.


Wife of the Medical Director, Dr Ann Bazuaye-Ekwuyasi, Manger of the Hospital, Tessy Oyenkachi and other members of  Staff called on Deltans to take their health issues seriously noting that health is wealth.


President General of Enerhen Community, Mr Sunny Onovughe and other beneficiaries commended Humanity Hospital for the gesture and promised to adhere to the advised rendered.


World Health Day is celebrated every year to raise awareness about the ongoing health issues that concern people across the world.
