PRINCE  GODWIN OBIE SAYS CHOICE OF OKOWA AS PDP VICE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE, WILL BOOST CHANCES OF PARTY'S VICTORY

The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Security, Prince Godwin Obie says the choice of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State as PDP Vice Presidential Candidate will boost the chances of victory for the Party, in the 2023 general elections.


Prince Obie in an interview, said owing to the popularity of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa among the South-South Governors and his numerous contributions to the growth and development of the PDP at the national level have endeared himself to party leaders and members.


He noted that, Governor Okowa has a dual nature as he is from the Ibo speaking tribe of Delta State which qualifies him to be from the South-South and South-East regions of the country and will be able to garner votes from both regions.



Prince Obie added that, Governor Okowa is highly experienced, as he has served in the National Assembly as a Senator and the Executive as Governor and has also served in the third tier of Government as Council Chairman, stressing that all these have made him the most qualified among the shortlisted aspirants 


He noted that the dazzling brilliance, humility and calmness of Governor Okowa will also add as a plus to the PDP presidential campaign.


The SSA to the Governor on Security said Governor Okowa has all it takes to be the Vice President of the country, as he has successfully piloted the affairs of Delta State which is a multi-ethnic state like Nigeria.


Prince Obie congratulated Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for adding another feather to his political hat and prayed God to see him through.



He called on Nigerians to support the candidature of Alhaji Abubakar Atiku and Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, as their pair will rescue Nigeria.
