OVIE OF UMIAGHWA-ABRAKA KINGDOM CALLS ON INDIGENES IN DIASPORA TO CONTINUE EXECUTING AND COMMISSIONING OF PEOPLE'S ORIENTED PROJECTS IN THE KINGDOM


ONE OF THE NECESSITIES OF LIFE IS WATER, THIS IS WHY CLEAN, POTABLE WATER ENHANCES THE HEALTH AND WELLBEING OF  PEOPLE. 



TO THIS REGARD, HIS ROYAL MAJESTY (AVM) LUCKY OCHUKO ARARILE (RTD) AVWAEKE1, THE OVIE OF UMIAGHWA-ABRAKA KINGDOM IN HIS QUEST OF MAKING THE UMIAGHWA-ABRAKA A CONDUCIVE AND VIABLE COMMUNITY, SOLICITED FOR THE SUPPORT OF THE SONS AND DAUGHTERS IN DIASPORA TO EMBARK ON PROJECTS THAT WILL ATTRACT DEVELOPMENT IN THE KINGDOM, AND THEIR USUAL SWIFT RESPONSE, THE DIASPORA COMMUNITY OF UMIAGHWA-ABRAKA KINGDOM ORGANIZED BY FELIX AGBABUNE,  MOBILIZED THEMSELVES IN EMBARKING ON THE PROVISION OF FRESH, UNCONTAMINATED DRINKING WATER IN SOME PARTS OF THE KINGDOM. 





THE FIRST WAS THE UMEGHE  WATER PROJECT, WHICH WAS BUILT FROM SCRATCH AND, THE REHABILITATION OF THE URUOGBESA WATER PROJECTS WHICH INCLUDE, SERVICING OF THE DISTRIBUTION LINES. 

THE WATER PROJECTS ARE BOTH POWERED BY SOLAR ENERGY. 



ACCORDING TO THE SUPERVISING CHIEF OF THE PROJECTS, CHIEF MONDAY ARAWORE, WHO IS THE PRESIDENT GENERAL OF UMIAGHWA-ABRAKA KINGDOM, SAID THAT THE TOTAL COST OF BOTH PROJECTS IS ESTIMATED TO BE ABOUT FOUR MILLION NAIRA. 



THE ELATED OVIE OF UMIAGHWA-ABRAKA WAS FULL OF PRAISES FOR THE DIASPORA COMMUNITY FOR THEIR EFFORTS IN REMEMBERING HOME BY CREATING FACILITIES  AT HOME. HE ENJOINED OTHER SONS AND DAUGHTERS TO EMULATE THEM TO COME HOME AND ASSIST IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE KINGDOM IN ONE WAY OR THE OTHER. 



THE OVIE ALSO ASKED  FOR SUPPORT FOR MORE WATER AND OTHER PROJECTS ESPECIALLY THE PROPOSED WATER SCHEME AT UGHELE WHICH IS PROJECTED TO COST ABOUT 2.8 MILLION NAIRA.
