OVIE OF UMIAGHWA-ABRAKA KINGDOM HONOURS WITH MERITORIOUS AWARD BY NIGERIA LEGION AND GREEN HERO FOUNDATION



In recognition of his service to humanity as a leading hero and war veteran, the Ovie of Umiaghwa Abraka Kingdom His Royal Majesty HRM (AVM) Lucky Ochuko Ararile retired was recently honoured with a meritorious award by the Nigeria Legion and Green Hero Foundation.


The event which took place at the International Conference Centre Abuja, saw the retired Air Vice Marshall and the Ovie of Umiaghwa Abraka Kingdom who recently celebrated his tenth coronation anniversary full of joy for the award.


The Umiaghwa Abraka Monarch also lauded the Nigeria Legion and Green Hero Foundation for the honour bestowed on him.


He noted that the award will go a very long way to spur him in doing more for humanity and the society.


The Traditional Ruler however dedicated the award to God almighty and the good people of Umiaghwa Abraka Kingdom for their encouragement and prayers.



The ceremony had in attendance both serving and retired Service Chiefs and a cross session of the society.


Highpoint of the day was the presentation of the award to HRM (AVM) Lucky Ochuko Ararile by Lt. Gen Obiakor retired.


AVM Lucky Ochuko Ararile retired was a dedicated senior Air Force Officer who during his military days took parts in the peace keeping mission in Liberia, Sierra Leone and other parts of the world as well as the restoration of peace in the Niger Delta Region.


As a pioneer coordinator of the Federal Government Amnesty Program for ex militant, Orosue is not just a blessing to his Abraka people but indeed the country Nigeria.
