HUMANITY FAMILY HEALTH FOUNDATION, NIGERIAN NURSES ASSOCIATION OF GEORGIA HOLDS CHRISTMAS PARTY FOR SICKLE CELL WARRIORS

In the spirit of the yuletide season, Humanity Family Health Foundation in collaboration with Nigerian Nurses Association of Georgia organized an exciting Christmas party and Routine Clinic Checkup for Warri Sickle Warriors. 

Programme Director Team,Dr Anne Bazuaye-Egwuyasi said the party which is an annual event serves as a platform for giving back to the children in the society. 

Guests at the Warri Sickle Warriors, Christmas party and Routine Clinic Checkup of Humanity Family Health Foundation in collaboration with Nigerian Nurses Association of Georgia Christmas Party  were entertained with the children dishing out different performances, which Christmas songs, games and dances.

Some of the participants smiled home with prizes after emerging winners of games. 



Programme Director Team,Dr Anne Bazuaye-Egwuyasi said Children born with Sickle Cell Condition , in poor-income countries like Nigeria no doubt face a lot of social rejection hence Humanity Family Health Foundation in collaboration with Nigerian Nurses Association of Georgia decided to organise the party to put smiles on the faces of the children.

Dr Egwuyasi said the Foundation has engaged in   training, funding, and resources that has helped to carry out consultation and free treatment for Sickle Cell Warrior in Effurun and Environs.

While making cash donations to Warri Sickle Cell Team and Humanity Family Health Foundation, Executive Project Director/President Nigerian Nurses Association of Georgia, Mrs Rufina Noragbon said the association  who have made it their responsibility to always reach out to the society will not relent in their efforts to support the Sickle Cell Warriors.



Dr Rufina called on all to support Sickle Cell Warriors as they need all the care to overcame every stigmatization noting that they can still achieve their dreams. 

Parents and Children including Coordinator Sickle Cell Club Warri, Mrs Flora Binitie said the party was wonderful, as it helped to make the children feel loved.



They also commended the foundations for organising the event and for their efforts at putting smiles on the faces of the children.

The event also witnessed the cutting of the Christmas cake,Free Gift from Father Christmas and Free Consultation with Medicines for Sickle Cell Warriors.
