 BISHOP IGBIGBISIE COMMENDS DELTANS FOR MASSIVE PARTICIPATION IN SATURDAY'S  ELECTION Delta based clergyman, Bishop  Akpocha Christopher Igbigbisie has commended Deltans for coming out enmasse to exercise their franchise in the Presidential and National Assembly Elections on Saturday. Bishop Igbigbisie who is the founder of City of Prayers Ministry, CPM, International  spoke in an interview at Agbarho on Sunday. The religious minister noted that, the large turnout of voters across Nigeria is a demonstration of the confidence Nigerians have on the credibility of the process as promised by President Muhammadu Buhari.  ACCORD PARTY REJECTS RESULT OF NDOKWA/UKWUANI FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY Delta State Accord Party has rejected the result of the Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency as released by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Asaba. Delta State Chairman of Accord Party, Mr Fred Obi in a statement condemned the result noting that the winner as was announced by the electoral umpire does not reflect the true picture of the vote cast. Mr Obi explained that, the results duly signed by the Party's Agents are different from that announced by INEC noting that it is a rape on democracy and circumvention of the will of the people. INEC ASSURES OF READINESS FOR 2023 GENERAL ELECTIONS:* *As NAS Sponsors Radio Awareness Campaign on Need for Free, Fair, Credible Exercise The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has assured Nigerians that it is fully ready for the 2023 general elections starting with the Presidential and National Assembly elections slated for Saturday, 25th of February, 2023. An Assistant Operations Officer of INEC, Mr. Enite Oru gave the assurance during an awareness  campaign programme on Radio Delta, Melody FM Warri, sponsored by the National Association of Seadogs, NAS, aka Pyrates Confraternity, Rainbow and Escravos Decks, on Monday, 20th February, 2023.  CHIEF EDOJA DISPELS PURPORTED DESOLUTION OF AUIU EXECUTIVE BY OSUVIE The Executive of Agbarho Urhobo Improvement Union, AUIU, led by Chief Kevwe Edoja have said they remain the duly recognised executive to pilot the affairs of the Union. A statement signed by the President General of Agbarho Urhobo Improvement Union, Chief Kevwe Edoja and it's Legal Adviser, Mr Joseph Ogedegbe says the Chief Kevwe Edoja led executive was duly elected at Agbarho Annual Conference and as such can only be removed at the Conference. It stated that, the Osuvie of Agbarho or any other person does not have the constitutional right to dissolve the executive of AUIU noting that the Interim Caretaker Committee purportedly set up by the King, is illegal.  DELTA PFN DID NOT ENDORSE ANY PRESIDENTIAL, GUBER CANDIDATE - BISHOP IGBIGBISIE An Agbarho based religious minister and prominent member of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, Delta State Chapter, Bishop  Akpocha Christopher Igbigbisie has faulted reports making the round in the social media, that Delta State Chapter of PFN has endorsed a Presidential and Gubernatorial Candidates of the People's Democratic Party, PDP.
