CHIEF EDOJA DISPELS PURPORTED DESOLUTION OF AUIU EXECUTIVE BY OSUVIE

The Executive of Agbarho Urhobo Improvement Union, AUIU, led by Chief Kevwe Edoja have said they remain the duly recognised executive to pilot the affairs of the Union.

A statement signed by the President General of Agbarho Urhobo Improvement Union, Chief Kevwe Edoja and it's Legal Adviser, Mr Joseph Ogedegbe says the Chief Kevwe Edoja led executive was duly elected at Agbarho Annual Conference and as such can only be removed at the Conference.

It stated that, the Osuvie of Agbarho or any other person does not have the constitutional right to dissolve the executive of AUIU noting that the Interim Caretaker Committee purportedly set up by the King, is illegal.

It added that, a competent court of jurisdiction had in 2017 ruled against the Osuvie, Ogugu the first when he illegally tried to remove the Chief Gbenedion led Executive of AUIU.

It urged all concerned not to transact any business with the Interim Caretaker Committee noting that any who does, does that in his or her risk.
