UPU AMERICA CONGRATULATES BISHOP EWHERIDO ON HIS CONSECRATION AS BISHOP OF CATHOLIC DIOCESE OF WARRI


 Urhobo Progress Union America has congratulated Rt Rev MSGR  Anthony Ovayero Ewherido on his consecration as Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Warri.



A Congratulatory Message signed by the President General of UPU America, Olorogun (Dr) Prince Abel Dafioghor and Director of Publicity, Olorogun Rume Oputu described his nomination by the Vatican City and subsequent consecration as well deserved and a prestige to the Urhobo nation and Delta State at large.


It noted that Bishop Ewherido is a humble and brilliant priest who rose to the rank of a Professor of Biblical Theology and Languages of which the Urhobo nation is proud of him.


It recalled the unprecedented achievements of the Ewu-Urhobo born priest at his last appointment as Rector of his alma mater, Saints Peter and Paul Major Seminary, Bodija, Ibadan, Oyo State and other places of his assignments.


It urged the new Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Warri to remain humble, resilient, hardworking and committed to God, noting that the sky will be his stepping stone.


UPU America expressed confidence that the Catholic Diocese of Warri will blossom to an enviable height under the leadership of Bishop Ewherido.


It prayed God to grant him wisdom, long life and divine health to enable him excel in his new assignment.


It urged catholic faithful in Catholic Diocese of Warri to give him all the necessary support and prayer.


UPU America pledged to do all within it's powers to ensure Bishop Ewherido succeeds on his new assignment.
