OHRERHE COMMUNITY AGBARHO DISSOLVES EXECUTIVE, SWEARS IN FIVE MAN EXECUTIVE


The people of Ohrerhe Community Agbarho Kingdom in Ughelli North LGA has dissolved the executive of the community.


A statement signed by the eldest man of the community, Pa Gregory Okirigwo and one hundred and twenty-three others alleged that the Executive was removed due to financial impropriety.


It further alleged that, the dissolves executive were trying to imposed themselves on the community for a second term without due process.


It also alleged that the President of dissolved Executive has usurped the duty of the Community Constitution Drafting Committee, Chief Sunday Ekpuyama.


The statement alleged that the dissolved executive has refused to account for the sum of one million naira  meant for furniture of the the community's Town Hall and refusal to call for monthly meeting.


It accused the former President of gross misconduct and involvement of acts not befitting of a community leader.


It set up a five man Executive to steer the affairs of the community.


They are Chief Sam Oyibocha -President, Mr Emmanuel Ikise -Secretary, while  Ufuoma Omokri, Isaiah Okotie and Monday Ukuededjor are members.


It urged all to stop transacting business in the name of the community with members of the dissolved executive noting that the new Executive led by Chief Sam Oyibocha has been empowered to represent the community.
