OKOBARO CONFERS CHIEFTAINCY TITLES ON TWO NOTABLE INDIGENES OF THE KINGDOM
His Majesty Odjaberen, Dr Matthew Ediri Egbi, JP, FoD, AMNSE, RDN, Owahwa II, The Okobaro of Jeremi (Ughievwen) kingdom has confered chieftaincy titles on two notable indigenes of the kingdom, Chief Emuesiri Gboroge and Chief (Mrs) Evelyn Igwariende Obuareghe, who are native of Egbo-Uhurie Community,
The Monarch who conferred the titles of Owhodeden of Ughievwen Kingdom on Chief Emuesiri Gboroge and Omote Ri Zion of Ughievwen Kingdom on Chief (Mrs) Evelyn Igwariende Obuareghe, said the chieftaincy titles were given to them in recognition of their peaceful and benevolent contributions as well as their Community development efforts.
His Majesty Odjaberen, Dr Matthew Ediri Egbi, JP, FoD, AMNSE, RDN, Owahwa II, The Okobaro of Jeremi (Ughievwen) kingdom commended the two recipients of the chieftaincy titles, Chief Emuesiri Gboroge and Chief (Mrs) Evelyn Igwariende Obuareghe for their peaceful and benevolent acts in Ughievwen kingdom.
He advised the two new chiefs to use their titles to bring development to their community and also to be of good ambassadors of the Palace.
The Okobaro urged Indigenes of the kingdom to live in peace and unity and explore ways of attracting development to the kingdom.
He commended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for his development strides in Ughievwen kingdom and urged the incoming Governor, Right Hon Sheriff Oborevwori to consolidate on the achievements of Governor Okowa.
Chief Emuesiri Gboroge and Chief (Mrs) Evelyn Igwariende Obuareghe thanked the Okobaro for the honour and pledged to continue their good work in the kingdom.
The chieftaincy conferment which took place at the Palace of the Okobaro had in attendance Ughievwen Ladies Vanguard and other notable personalities while the popular Udje dance of Otokutu were on ground to thrilled guests.
