PRINCE OBIE CONGRATULATES DELTA GOVERNOR, RT. HON SHERIFF OBOREVWORI


Senior Special Assistant to the immediate past Governor on Security, Prince Godwin Obie has congratulated Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori on his successful swearing in as the Executive Governor of Delta State on Monday.


A statement signed by Prince Godwin Obie says the emergence of Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori as Governor of Delta State is divinely ordained by God and expressed happiness that he is part of those God used to bring it to manifestation.



He noted that, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is an experience politician, who has served in both the executive and legislative arms of government and rose to the pinnacle in the Legislative Arm as Speaker due to his hard work, diligence and transparency.


Prince Obie expressed confidence that his will bring his wealth experience to bear in the governance of the state especially after working closely with the political genius the immediate past Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa.


He added that, as a grassroot politician who rose from community leadership and has spent all his life on Delta State, Governor Oborevwori will turn the fortunes of the state through his robust MORE Agenda.



Prince Obie urged Deltans to support Governor Oborevwori and expect more development, peace, employment, empowerment and prosperity. 


He prayed God to grant him more wisdom, divine health and grace to succeed in his new assignment.


Prince Obie also used the opportunity to thanked the immediate past Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa on his successful tenure and for giving him the opportunity to serve as Senior Special Assistant in his government.
