8TH DTHA SPEAKERSHIP POSITION: HON PRINCE MOSES OGUGU CALLS FOR SUPPORT FOR HON DENNIS EMOMOTIMI GUWOR

As the 8th Delta State House of Assembly gets ready to be constituted come next week, a youth Leader in the state, Prince (Hon) Moses Ogugu has called for support for the member representing Warri South West Constituency at the state Assembly Honourable Dennis Emomotimi Guwor to be the next speaker of the house.
Prince (Hon) a former Special Assistant SA to the immediate past Governor of Delta State Dr Ifeanyi Okowa on Youth Development made the call on Friday while speaking on the 8th Delta State House of Assembly.
Prince Ogugu noted that Hon Guwor a vibrant state parliamentarian deserve the speakership of the house going by his antecedent at the hallow chamber.
Prince Ogugu who was a one time Counsellor representing Isaba Ward 2, in the Warri South West Legislative Arm of government added that Warri South West having been a local government area that has always delivered massive votes for the People's Democratic Party PDP in previous elections need to be compensated by allowing the speakership of the house zone to the constituency.
He appealed to the Governor of Delta State Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, the immediate past Governor of the state, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa and other Leaders in the state to throw their weights behind Hon Guwor to enable emerge the next speaker.
He however emphasized that Leaders of Warri South West and other prominent Ijaws are strongly in support of Hon Guwor taking over the leadership of the Delta State House of Assembly from his Excellency, Rt Hon Oborevwori who served as the longest speaker of the house.
