OVIE OF UMIAGHWA-ABRAKA KINGDOM PLAYED HOST TO NIGERIA AIR FORCE OSUBI

Commanding Officer 320, Nigeria Air Force, Osubi, Wing Commander Godfrey Akonde says that Traditional Rulers played crucial roles in sustaining prevailing peace in their domains.
Wing Commander Akonde stated this on Thursday when he led top Personnel of the Nigeria Air Force on a courtesy visit to the palace of the Ovie of Umiaghwa-Abraka Kingdom HRM (AVM) Lucky Ochuko Ararile (Rtd) the Avwaeke the First.
Wing Commander Akonde said that the visit is to ensure civil military relationship with the kingdom.
Wing Commander Akonde who noted that Traditional Rulers are custodians of the culture and the land, further added that the antecedents and pedigree of His Royal Majesty who is a retired Air Force General cannot be overemphasized.
He stated that the Nigeria Air Force are proud to identify always with the Ovie of Umiaghwa-Abraka kingdom, pointing out that are at his beck and call.
For his part, the Traditional Ruler, the Ovie of Umiaghwa-Abraka Kingdom HRM (AVM) Lucky Ochuko Ararile (Rtd) the Avwaeke the First, lauded the Commanding Officer and his team for the visit.
The Royal Father also advised the Commanding Officer to be meticulous, observe proper documentation and learn the act of prioritizing items.
He also urged him to regularly interact with his colleagues as well as for him to always inculcate the habit of reading books in order to expand his scope.
Avwaeke the First used the forum to extend his condolence to the Nigeria Air Force over the loss of some of its personnel in the Niger State Helicopter crash and prayers for their souls to rest in peace.
The Umiaghwa-Abraka monarch equally prayed for Wing Commander Godfrey Akonde to have a successful tenure at his base.
