FORMER LEADER OF UVWIE LEGISLATIVE ARM DECLARES CHAIRMANSHIP AMBITION BEFORE WARD 8 EXECUTIVE, PROMISES ALL INCLUSIVE GOVT.
Former Leaer of Legislative Arm of Uvwie Local Government, Honourable Glory Otumebure Utuedor has formally declared his intention to run for the Chairmanship seat of Uvwie Local Government.
Honourable Utuedor made his intention known during a consultation visit to Executive of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Uvwie Ward Eight.
Former Leader of Legislative Arm of Uvwie Local Government told the executive of PDP Uvwie ward eight, that his visit was to intimate them of his ambition to contest for the Chairmanship seat of Uvwie Local Government and to seek their support.
Honourable Utuedor who appreciated the executive of PDP Uvwie Ward Eight for their support for him during his term as councillor and urged them to extend same support to him.
He noted that his ambition of becoming a chairman of Uvwie Local government is bore out of a desire to improve the infrastructural development of the council area, as he has the needed experience being a former legislative leader of the council.
Honourable Utuedor assures the PDP Uvwie Ward eight executive that he will go ahead with his consultation peacefully and called for all to support him.
Responding, Chairman of PDP Uvwie Ward eight, Mr Frank Jefia and others lauded Hon Utuedor for consulting them and promised to support him.
They noted that, he has contributed a lot to the growth of the ward and local Government Area and urged him to go about his consultation peacefully.
Earlier Honourable Glory Utuedor had visited his family Ebiuwe/Amadja Family of Ohorhe 1 Community to inform them his ambition to contest the Chairman seat of Uvwie Local Government.
