CHIEF OMOWARE STEPHEN BROWN (JP) DECLARES INTENTION TO CONTEST WARD 17 COUNCILLORSHIP SEAT


A People's Democratic Party, PDP, Youth leader in Ethiope East Local Government Area, Chief Stephen Brown Omoware (JP) popularly called Don Richy has declared his intention to contest for the Councillorship Seat of Ward Seventeen Ovu Inland Ethiope East Local Government.


Chief Stephen Brown Omoware (JP) who disclosed this in an interview at his residence said his decision to run for the position  was borne out of his desire to attract development to the area.


He noted that, if elected, he would liaise with the Chairman of the Council, his boss the Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Hon Arthur Akpowowo, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and other leaders inorder to attract the needed development to the area.


Chief Stephen Brown Omoware (JP) who is a philantropist, promised to initiate laws that would transform the Council area, carryout elaborate empowerment programmes for youths, men and women and give priority to education and health, if given the opportunity to represent the ward.


He appealed to leaders and members of the People's Democratic Party, PDP, Ward Seventeen to give him all the necessary support to enable him succeed noting that he has the needed experience, international and local exposure as well as the academic qualifications to represent the ward.


Chief Stephen Brown Omoware (JP) popularly called Don Richy who has been working for the party over the years, disclosed that, he has started consulting leaders of the Party in and outside the ward. 


Chief Stephen Brown Omoware (JP) who is a businessman and philanthropist who hails from Unuame quarter in Ovu Inland, a son of Chief Daniel Ememu Omoware the Ominike of Agbon  Kingdom, urged all to support Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to enable him succeed in implementing his MORE Agenda.
