OKOBARO CONFERS CHIEFTAINCY TITLES ON OLOROGUN GODWIN DOGHUDJE, WIFE
HRM Dr. Matthew Ediri Egbi JP, FoD, AMNSE, Owahwa II, The Okobaro of Ughievwen (Jeremi) kingdom has conferred chieftaincy titles on Olorogun Godwin Doghudje and his wife, Olorogun Grace Doghudje at his palace.
The Okobaro conferred the titles of Ovwata Odẹ on Olorogun Godwin Doghudje and Ochuku Ọvwata odẹ on his wife, Olorogun Grace Doghudje.
HRM Dr. Matthew Ediri Egbi JP, FoD, AMNSE, Owahwa II, The Okobaro of Ughievwen (Jeremi) kingdom, said the chieftaincy titles were in recognition of the laudable contributions of the couple to the peace, unity and progress of Ughievwen Kingdom.
He tasked them to continue their good work on the kingdom and remain worthy ambassadors of the Kingdom.
The monarch reminded them of the enormous responsibilities associated with their new status and the need to carry the titles with pride and dignity.
In their response, Olorogun Godwin Doghudje and his wife, Olorogun Grace appreciated the Okobaro of Ughievwen Kingdom for the honour bestowed on them and promised to contribute to the peace and growth of the kingdom.
The ceremony which attracted dignitaries from all walks of life featured cultural displays by various dance groups.
