NUJ DBS WARRI CHAPEL PASSES VOTE OF CONFIDENCE ON GOV OBOREVWORI


The leadership of Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Delta Broadcasting Service DBS Warri Chapel has passed a vote of confidence on the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori for his pragmatic leadership style.

Chairman, NUJ DBS Warri Chapel, Comrade John Glover moved the vote of confidence during the Chapel's Congress on Monday.

The DBS Warri Chapel, Chairman, Comrade John Glover moved the motion for the vote of confidence on the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori and was unanimously adopted by the Congress after it was seconded by Comrade Ese Omu.

Comrade Glover said that Congress decided to pass the vote of confidence on Governor Oborevwori for appointing seasoned journalists from the Chapel as his media aides.

The Chapel chairman appealed to the Governor to also consider other members of the Union in his government.

On the issue of the state of DBS Warri, Comrade Glover solicited the support of the Governor in the upgrading the media outfit in order for it to serve its audience better.

Comrade Glover said that members of NUJ DBS Warri Chapel are pleased with the developmental achievements of Governor Oborevwori, siting the ongoing projects embarked on by construction giant Julius Berger among others.

The Chapel also during congress passed a vote of confidence on the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly for his examplary leadership of the 8th Assembly and for finding a member of the Chapel, Comrade Nkem Nwaeke as his Chief Press Secretary.
