FORMER LEADER OF UVWIE LEGISLATIVE ARM SAYS RELOCATION OF FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT SCIENCE OF DSUST INLINE WITH MORE AGENDA, COMMENDS GOV OBOREVWORI 



Former Leader of Uvwie Legislative Arm, and Uvwie Local Government Chairmanship aspirant, Rt Hon Glory Otumebure Utuedor has said the relocation of Faculty of Management Sciences of Delta State University of Science and Technology Ozoro to Orerokpe is commendable and inline with the MORE Agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.


Rt Hon Utuedor while speaking with Newsmen at the weekend said the relocation of the Faculty to Orerokpe one of the oldest towns in the state that has served as headquarters to the largest Local Government Area, will help open up the ancient town which is the ancestral home of the Okpes.


The former lawmaker noted that, with relocation of the faculty to Orerokpe will fast track development and open a new vista of opportunities in Orerokpe and neighbouring communities which is inline with the Meaningful Development and Opportunities for all  of the MORE Agenda.


Rt Hon Utuedor added that, the relocation of the Faculty of Management Sciences to Orerokpe will boost economic activities in Orerokpe as well as create employment opportunities that will open other communities within the locality.


He urged the Isoko people to remain calm as Right Hon Sheriff Oborevwori has ensured that three new critical Faculties namely, Faculties of Basic Medical Sciences, Pharmacy and Health Sciences were added to the existing ones in Delta State University of Science and Technology Ozoro making good his promise of being a Governor for all.


The Uvwie Council Chairmanship hopeful noted that, Governor Oborevwori love the Isoko people, as his first political appointee was an Isokoman in the person of Hon Johnson Erijo as Chief of Staff Government House and within his one hundred days in office, completed and commissioned several projects at Delta State University of Science and Technology Ozoro. He stated there are other ongoing projects across Isokoland and several Isoko Indigenes have been appointed by Governor Oborevwori.


Rt Hon Utuedor urged the Isoko people not to listen to some disgruntled politicians who are bent on sabotaging the PDP led Government in the state, rather they should think of what they stand to benefit from the Oborevwori administration noting that the citing of faculties of Universities in other towns is normal everywhere in the world.


The former lawmaker stated that, the Isokos have benefitted in the past from the citing of faculties in other towns, stressing that, the Law and Engineering faculties of Delta State University Abraka were relocated from Abraka to Oleh, without anyone raising eyebrows.


He hailed Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for his wisdom and exemplary commitment to his MORE Agenda, which has continued to earn him accolades from within and across Delta State.


Rt Hon Utuedor called on all Deltans to sustain their support for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in his quest to advance Delta State through the MORE Agenda.
