DELTA LG POLLS : PDP OGBE-IJOH WARD 1 REJOICES OVER HON OROMONI CANDIDACY AS PDP FLAGBEARER IN WARRI SOUTH WEST CHAIRMANSHIP RACE

 Leadership of the People's Democratic Party PDP in Ogbe Ijoh Ward One of Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State has expressed appreciation to the State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori and other leaders in the local government area for the emergence of Hon Sylvester Oromoni as the PDP consensus chairmanship candidate for Warri South West Council in the forthcoming council polls in Delta State. 



Bladenews24 correspondent reports that the intra-party peace and unity meeting by leaders and stakeholders of the PDP in Ogbe-Ijoh Ward One was to celebrate, Hon Oromoni, who they described as a staunch leader in the ward whose emergence as the party's chairmanship candidate would further unite and strengthen party in the ward in future elections.



Chairman of PDP in Warri South West, Chief Favour Izoukumor, emphasized the importance of unity, solidarity, and teamwork in the ward to secure victory for the party's candidate in the upcoming council polls.


He equally commended other aspirants for the chairmanship position for the way and manner they conducted their consultations and sued for their continuous support for the party.



Other leaders of the party who spoke including the Director General, Special Duties, Delta State, Chief Frank Omare and Pastor Sam Ako addressed concerns that arose from the recently concluded chairmanship primaries and expressed gratitude to the leadership of PDP Delta State, Warri South West and the State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori for mid-wifing the primary election that gave birth to the candidate Hon Sylvester Oromoni, who is a grassroots politician.


The Acting PDP Chairman of Ogbe Ijoh Ward One, Chief Stanley Okiri and the Secretary, Chief Sylvester Teibebedigha, noted that the candidacy of Hon Oromoni calls for celebration that all should work towards the victory of the party.


Some of the aspirants who contested for the chairmanship position, Pastor Arex Akemetubo, and Hon Frank Pukon Miebi described the decision of party leaders on the choice of Hon Sylvester Oromoni as a wise one.



The PDP chairmanship candidate for Warri South West local government council, Hon Sylvester Oromoni thanked all for the confidence reposed in him promising not to disappoint them 


During the meeting, a vote of confidence was passed on the candidacy of Hon Sylvester Oromoni as the PDP Warri South West Local Government flag bearer.
