EDSS DESOPADEC CHIEF IZOUKUMOR HAILS GOV OBOREVWORI ON ONE YEAR IN OFFICE, SAYS HIS ACHIEVEMENT IS UNPRECEDENTED

The Executive Director Social Services on the board of DESOPADEC Chief Favour Izoukumor has hailed the Delta State Gov Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori on the occasion of his one year anniversary in office as the Executive Governor of the state.


Chief Izoukumor in a congratulatory message says he is celebrating with the Governor who he described as an action and amiable leader. 


He said that the achievements of H.E Rt. Hon Oborevwori is unprecedented, noting that from the first day in office, the governor demonstrated the commitment and readiness to good governance by hitting the ground running.


"Our elders say that the morning's performance portends of how the entire day will go, the morning of your excellency's administration has given hope, confidence and has inspired a renewed trust in the good and wonderful times ahead of Delta State" he said


"On developmental achievements across the twenty five local government area of the state, Gov Oborevwori has done exceedingly well, with the landmark award of three flyovers to construction giant Julius Berger as well as massive road constructions in riverine and upland communities" he stated.


Chief Izoukumor stressed that Gov Oborevwori who is a proactive and visionary leader has also consolidated on the gains of his predecessor in advancing the state on the path of sustainable rapid growth.


" On healthcare delivery, sports and human capital developments, the governor in his one year in office has practically demonstrated leadership" Chief Izoukumor pointed out.


He however wished the governor more fruitful stay in office and all appealed to all Deltans rally behind him in his quest of delivering on his More Agenda to all Deltans.
