ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY : HON OROMONI CONGRATULATES RT. HON OBOREVWORI ON HIS PEOPLES OREINTED ACHIEVEMENTS IN ONE YEAR IN OFFICE

The Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Flagbearer in the Delta State local government elections for Warri South West Council  Hon Sylvester Oromoni has congratulated the Executive Governor of Delta State, His Excellency Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori for his impactful programmes and harvest of projects as he marks his one-year in office.


Hon Oromoni in a chat with newsmen in Warri, said Governor Oborevwori deserves huge accolades and applause for sustaining the tempo of development as his numerous achievements dot the landscape across Delta State.


Hon Oromoni who is a stunched grassroot member of the PDP in the state, emphasized that Governor Oborevwori was the first Governor in the state who practically continued with the execution of projects started by his predecessors.


“I am immensely grateful to His Excellency, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, the Executive Governor of Delta State for the unprecedented contract award of the multi-billion Naira ongoing construction of three flyovers, road expansion and interchan the administration will certainly do MORE for the people and the state through people-oriented projects as well as ensuring a business-friendly environment through sustainable peace and security” Oromoni observed. 


He listed other projects to include, Continuation and expansion of Warri/Effurun storm drainage project, Warri Township Stadium Project and the storm drainage around the stadium to solve the perennial problem of flash flooding in the stadium, Ohore Adagbrassa Bye Pass, Delta State High Court Building Asaba, Ughelli Asaba Highway project, Numerous projects in the three State Universities, Grants for indigenous people of Delta State, Payment of bursary to over 30 thousand students of Delta State origin, Grants to Delta youths and entrepreneurs, Delta State University of Technology, Orerokpe campus, Numerous road projects across the three senatorial districts of Delta State, Commissioning of Orere bridge to open up over 20 communities across different local government areas, Emevor/Orogun Road and many others.


Hon Oromoni thereafter expressed appreciation to the leadership of the State People's Democratic Party headed by Gov Oborevwori and all who contributed to his emergence as the party's flag bearer for Warri South West local government Chairmanship race in the forthcoming state council elections.
