BISHOP AKPOCHA URGES CHRISTIANS TO BE THANKFUL, AS PRESIDENT GENERAL AUIU THANKS GOD @ CITY OF PRAYERS MINISTRY
General Overseer of City of Prayers Ministry International Incorporated Agbarho, Bishop Christopher Akpocha has urged christians to make Thanksgiving their life style.
Bishop Christopher Akpocha spoke while preaching during the Thanksgiving of Chief Oghenekevwe Edoja President General of Agbarho Urhobo Improvement Union, AUIU.
Bishop Christopher Akpocha in a sermon tagged "what are you living for" appreciated the President General of AUIU Chief Oghenekevwe Edoja for his efforts in promoting peace and unity in Agbarho Kingdom, as well as for showing appreciation to God for His goodness towards him.
The renowned clergyman emphasised on the need for the congregration to live exemplary lives worthy of emulation according to the teachings of Christ.
Bishop Akpocha charged women to always pray for the protection and progress of their husbands so as to enjoy marital bliss.
Chief Oghenekevwe Edoja President General of Agbarho Urhobo Improvement Union, AUIU, thanked God for the wisdom to pilot the affairs of Agbarho kingdom and for seeing him through challenging times.
Chief Edodja also thanked the former Governor of Delta State, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa and the present Govenor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Bishop and members of City of Prayers Ministry International Incorporated for their support and prayers.
Chief Press Secretary to Delta State Governor, Sir Festus Ahon appreciated God for the life of the Chief Oghenekevwe Edoja and for his efforts in moving Agbarho forward.
Former Ughelli North Council Chairman, Hon. Godwin Adode, Ughelli North Peoples Democratic Party, Chairman, Pastor Kesiena Neumoja, members of National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, were amongst dignitaries that accompanied Chief Oghenekevwe Edoja to the thanksgiving.
