NATIONAL BUTCHERS UNION OF NIGERIA, DELTA STATE CHAPTER GETS NEW EXECUTIVE, BISHOP AKPOCHA URGES THEM TO KEY INTO GOV. OBOREVWORI'S MORE AGENDA




 A new executive has been inaugurated to pilot the affairs of National Butchers Union of Nigeria, Delta State Chapter for the next four years.


The election of those that will pilot the affairs of National Butchers Union of Nigeria, Delta State Chapter for the next four years began with accreditation of members and voting for.the candidates of their choice.


At the end of the exercise which took place under a peaceful atmosphere at Asaba produced Mr Peter Onouha as chairman, Chief John Okonedo as vice chairman, Mr Livinus Nnaji second vice chairman, Mr Mabiaku Godvoice secretary, Mr Emmanuel Onuorah as Financial secretary and Mr Nwafor Kenneth as Treasurer, amongst others.


Speaking shortly after a legal practitioner, Mr Ekene Ani administered the oath of office on the new executive,  Delta State Commissioner for Agriculture, Hon. Val Arenyeka represented by the Director for Veterinary Services, Dr Edmund Orioko   commended members of the Association for their peaceful conduct during the election and  urged them to partner with the state government in ensuring healthy beef production.


Patron of National Butchers Union of Nigeria, Delta State Chapter, Bishop Christopher Igbigbisie- Akpocha Congratulated the new executive led by Mr Peter Onuoha and urged them to work together and carry everyone along.


Bishop Igbigbisie- Akpocha,

who is the General Overseer of the City of Prayer Ministry Agbarho, Ughelli North LGA, urged the new executive to key into the More Agenda of Governor Oborevwori and give priority to the welfare of members.


Past chairman of the Association, Deacon David Eteje and Chairman of Board of Trustees,  Comrade Toju Awala, while congratulating the Union urges them to consolidate on the achievements of the  past executive.


 Chairman of National Butchers Union of Nigeria, Delta State Chapter, Mr Peter Onuoha thanked members for the confidence reposed on him and promised not disappoint them.


He also promised to work with Delta State goveassuring to key into the MORE agenda of the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.


Highlight of the ceremony, was the presentation of certificates of return to members of the new executive .
