In a heartfelt birthday message, Chief Favour Izoukumor, the Executive Director of Social Services on the Board of DESOPADEC, has praised the exemplary leadership of former Delta State Governor, H.E. Dr. Emmanuel Ewete Uduaghan CON, who celebrated his 70th birthday on Tuesday, October 22, 2024.


Chief Izoukumor emphasized that reaching the milestone of seventy years is a significant achievement and expressed gratitude to God for granting Dr. Uduaghan the opportunity to celebrate this special occasion in good health and with a sound mind.


Highlighting Dr. Uduaghan's impactful tenure as the third Executive Governor of Delta State, Chief Izoukumor noted the transformative initiatives that marked his administration. These include the implementation of a free maternal health scheme for pregnant women and children aged zero to five, free enrollment for students taking WACE and NECO examinations, and the introduction of the subsidized Delta State Mass Transit, popularly known as the Uduaghan bus. 


Additionally, he acknowledged Dr. Uduaghan's crucial role in fostering peace during the turbulent period of the Warri crisis. On behalf of his family, Chief Izoukumor extended warm wishes to the birthday celebrant, hoping that he enjoys continued good health and lasting prosperity in the years to come.
