DELTA ETHNIC GROUPS URGE To UNITE FOR DEVELOPMENT
Warri-
Comrade Mulade Sheriff, a prominent peace and development advocate, has called on Delta State's major ethnic groups to prioritize unity and development. He specifically urged the Urhobos, Itsekiris, and Ijaws to put aside their differences and collaborate to attract investments and create jobs for the youth.
"Let's shun hatred and selfish interests that hinder progress," Mulade emphasized. "By working together, we can unlock our collective potential and support the government in delivering democratic dividends."
As the Ibe Serimowei of the Gbaramatu Kingdom and National Coordinator of the Center for Peace and Environmental Justice (CEPEJ), Mulade expressed confidence in the federal and state governments' commitment to driving development in Delta State.
He commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori's efforts in attracting investors and promoting peace.
"Delta State is endowed with abundant human capital and natural resources," Mulade noted. "By harnessing our strengths, we can become Nigeria's economic hub."
