COMRADE SHERIFF MULADE URGES PEACE IN DELTA STATE, SAYS NO OPEN TICKET FOR CRISES BEYOND 2031
Comrade Mulade Sheriff, a renowned peace and development advocate, has appealed to the Ijaw, Itsekiri, and Urhobo ethnic groups in Warri Federal Constituency of Delta State to embrace peace and refrain from acts that could lead to conflict or violence.
Comrade Mulade made the appeal while addressing stakeholders during this year international day of peace celebration with the theme Act Now For A Peaceful World, at the Africa for Peace Games Village, in OGOLO community near Osubi Airport, Okpe local government area of Delta State.
Comrade Mulade who is the Ibe-Serimowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom in WARRI South West local government area of Delta State, urged the ethnic groups to promote peaceful coexistence and avoid divisive tendencies.
He emphasized that there is no open ticket for crises beyond 2031 in Warri Federal Constituency, stressing the need for permanent peace to attract investors and development.
Mulade who is a crusader for environmental justice and peace urged Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to summon the courage and political will to address age-long ethnic conflicts in Warri Federal Constituency.
He appealed to Deltans and residents in the state to give maximum support and cooperation to Governor Oborevwori to enable the state enjoy the dividend of democracy and development.
