AFRICA FOR PEACE SPORTS FESTIVAL 2ND EDITION: A CELEBRATION OF SPORTS AND UNITY TO KICKOFF NOVEMBER 15, 2025

All is now set for the Africa for Peace Sports Festival which will kick off its 2nd edition on November 15, 2025, commemorating the International Day for Tolerance. 



The festival promises an exciting range of activities, including Sports Competitions such as Gym Competition to test one's strength and endurance in a fun and competitive environment, Scrabble to Challenge one's word skills and strategic thinking, Snooker to Showcase one's precision and focus on the green table, Table Tennis for participants to express Fast-paced action, Mini Football Compete in two categories (Under 25-45 and 46 and above) with a focus on fair play and sportsmanship.


Other games are Demonstration Games like

Chess to Showcase one's strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, Fuss-football for a fun and fast-paced game that is all about skill and teamwork.


Over ₦10 million*: Up for grabs in prize money, with consolidation prizes for outstanding performances.


The festival will provide an opportunity for the Nigeria Mini Football Association scouting delegation to identify and recruit talented players for the national team.

 LAND DEVELOPERS DECRY COLLECTION OF 'DEVE' BY YOUTHS IN AGBARHO  Land developers in Agbarho Kingdom have appealed to the Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government, Olorogun Jaro Egbo, and law enforcement agents to intervene in the incessant harassment and exploitation of land developers in the kingdom.
