NBM OF AFRICA DONATES SCH. MATERIALS TO OGBE UDU PRIMARY SCHOOL, UNDER DELTA ZONE, UDU SUB-ZONE, UDU CHAPTER 2 IN DELTA REGION
As part of its commitment to promoting educational development, the Neo-Black Movement (NBM) of Africa, Worldwide, Delta Zone, Udu Sub-Zone, Udu Chapter 2, has executed a Back-to-School Project at Ogbe Udu Primary School in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State.
The event, held on Friday, drew attendance from top officials of the organisation, including the Zonal Vice president, Zonal Executives, Coordinators, Chapters Chairmen, and other members.
Speaking at the event, the President of NBM Africa, Delta Zone, Prince Ochuko Oyoroko(JP) who was represented by the Vice President, Mr Ikoyo Arusuayene, said the donation was aimed at supporting educational development in the state and across the country in consonance with the National blue print of our amiable National President Dr Charles Chimezie (Phd) . He noted that the initiative was driven by the organisation’s desire to ensure that no child is deprived of basic education due to economic circumstances or geographical location.
Prince Oyoroko further stated that NBM has carried out various community-impact projects within and outside the zone, adding that the Back-to-School effort was borne out of the conviction that such support would help groom future leaders.
Chairman of Udu Chapter 2, Moses Ighosotu, encouraged the pupils to take their studies seriously and make effective use of the materials provided to them.
The Headmistress of Ogbe Udu Primary School, Mrs. Emetitiri Grace, expressed her appreciation to NBM for the gesture, describing it as a positive boost to the pupils’ learning experience. A representative of the Ogbe Udu community also thanked the organisation for its commitment to promoting inclusive growth and educational advancement in the community.
Highlights of the event included the distribution of school uniforms, books, writing materials, solar fans, and cash gifts to both teachers and pupils of the school.
