 GOVERNOR SHERIFF OBOREOVWORI EXTOL VIRTUES OF LATE ELDER PHILLIPS  ODUGBA EVOVO. Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has described the late Elder Phillip Odugba Evovo as a man who lived a fulfilled and exemplary life worthy of emulation, urging his children and family to sustain peace and unity.  Governor Oborevwori made the remark at Olomoro community in Isoko South Local Government Area during the funeral ceremony of Elder Phillip Odugba Evovo, where he commiserated with the bereaved family and prayed for the repose of the deceased’s soul.  GOVERNOR'S OFFICE ANNEX WARRI FELLOWSHIP DONATES FOOD STUFFS TO LITTLE SAINTS ORPHANAGE EKPAN The Governor's Office Annex Warri Fellowship Group has donated food items to Little Saints Orphanage in Ekpan, Uvwie local government Area of Delta State . The Director of Governor's Office Annex, Mrs Violet Onowakpokpo led others members of the group to donate the food items. The Director of Governor's Office Annex, Mrs. Onowakpokpo, who led the delegation stated that the group is committed to giving back to the needy and less privileged in society. The donation according to her was part of the group's activities to mark their end-of-year Thanksgiving. She advised the children to take their studies seriously,noting that education is a sure way to secure their  future.   * Tubegbe Community Seeks APC Chairmanship in Burutu LGA * The Tubegbe Mandate has appealed to the political leadership of the All Progressive Congress APC in Burutu, Delta State, to consider giving the APC Chairmanship Burutu LGA position, to a capable person from Tubegbe federated communities in the forthcoming APC Congress. In a statement, by Disi Bolouderemone Samson, Publicity Secretary of Tubegbe Mandate says the Tubegbe Mandate alleged that the community has been politically marginalized since 1999, despite overwhelming support for the ruling party and significant contributions to the development of the area. The community feels it has been overlooked for significant appointments and development initiatives.
