ESSI COLLEGE 1, WARRI,HOLDS 59TH ANNUAL INTER HOUSE SPORTS AND ATHLETIC COMPETITION.


It was an amazing show of Athletics skills and Sportmanship as Staff and Students of Essi college 1, Warri,held it 59th Annual inter house sports and Athletics competition at the school Field .


 National president of Essi college 1, Old students Association (Ecosa)Olorogun Sylvester Bighoro , Chief Dafe Duku were amongst prominent personalities that graced the event 


 In his welcome address, Principal of Essi college 1, Warri, Comrade Erhimedafe Michael thanked the Ovie of Agbarha Warri Kingdom,  National president of Essi college 1,Warri, Olorogun Sylvester Bighoro and other guests present for their support for the school in the past years noting that despite  the rain they still find time to attend the event.


Comrade Erhimedafe Michael urged the Students to support their various Athletes and teams, demonstrate good conduct and uphold the spirit of Sportmanship.


Comrade Erhimedafe Michael appeal to invited guests to kindly support the school with the provision of More Marker Boards as well as Footballs for the Students to train with.


Also Speaking at the event, National president of Essi college 1 Warri Olorogun Sylvester Bighoro noted the inter house sports competition is an opportunity for the students to showcase their talents.


He  stated that in the past Essi college 1 Warri has produced Athletes that have  represented Defunct Bendel state and present Delta state noting that the Old students Association will continue to give back to the school.


Olorogun Sylvester Bighoro promised to buy more Medals for the school, informing guests present at the event that very soon work will commence for the Construction of a new school Hall.


For his part Chairman of the event, Chief Dafe Duku thanked the school management for adding Football match to this year's inter house sport competition calling on the students to take their studies seriously.


Highpoint of the inter house sports  competition was the presentation of trophy to Red House that took the  first position in the Football match , Green House took the first position in the match past ,while  Green House came  third,  Yellow house First runner up and Blue House clinching the overall thropy in the inter house sport competition.
