IPWM PRESIDENT OFFERS SPECIAL THANKS TO GOD FOR DELIVERANCE FROM PROLONGED, LIFE-THREATENING ILLNESS
By Dr. Godwin Orhadahwe
The President of CCC Interdenominational Prayer Warrior Ministry, IPWM, Most Superior Evangelist Dr. Peter Ifiebor, has offered a special thanksgiving to God at the headquarters of the ministry in Ugbomro, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.
The thanksgiving service featured choir ministrations, praise and worship, as well as powerful Bible exhortations, all aimed at appreciating God for His divine intervention in the life of the cleric.
Speaking during the event, Evangelist Ifiebor said that but for the saving grace of Almighty God, he would have died from a strange and prolonged illness that defied medical treatment for many years.
According to him, the illness took him to different parts of Nigeria and eventually to India for medical attention, yet there was no healing until the God of Celestial Church of Christ intervened.
In an emotional expression of gratitude, Evangelist Ifiebor danced, rolled, and crawled in appreciation to God, reminiscent of King David in the Bible. He recounted how God, in His infinite mercy, brought him back from the brink of death and restored him to life.
He, therefore, urged members of IPWM to serve God wholeheartedly and love one another just as God loves mankind. He also admonished Christians to shun malice, hatred, and segregation, emphasizing that the Church of God is one body under Jesus Christ.
Evangelist Ifiebor further reminded Christians that life in the physical world is transient, and urged them to be mindful of life after death so that their earthly labor would not be in vain.
In their separate biblical ministrations, Archbishop Prof. Eddy Bebor of The Ark of God Covenant Church, and Most Superior Evangelist Prof. Sam Orokuyeri of CCC Covenant Parish, Warri, emphasized the importance of thanksgiving in the life of every Christian. They also thanked God for sparing the life of Evangelist Peter Ifiebor, and prayed for God's continued protection and sustenance upon him and the IPWM.
Highpoints of the event included a special thanksgiving by the IPWM President, during which he presented several musical instruments he purchased for the ministry’s choir. The thanksgiving was supported by members of the ministry in joyous celebration.
Another highlight was the presentation of a monumental car gift to Archbishop Prof. Eddy Bebor in appreciation of his many years of steadfast spiritual support for IPWM, particularly during the period when Evangelist Ifiebor was in India for two and a half months receiving medical treatment.
Also in attendance was the Secretary of the Delta State CCC Elders Council, Dr. Superior Evangelist Godwin Orhadahwe, along with many other ministers of God. The ceremony climaxed with members of IPWM dancing and singing joyfully to the glory of God in appreciation of His blessings upon the Interdenominational Prayer Warrior Ministry.
