NZE ONUORA CONGRATULATES GOVERNOR OBOREVWORI ON DUAL AWARDS, SAYS HONOUR DIDN'T COME AS A SURPRISE
Senior Special Assistant, SSA to the Governor on Non Indigenes Affairs, Hon. Nze Francis Onuora has described the double awards of Outstanding Independent Governor and Best Independent Governor in Urban Renewal of the Year 2025 bagged by Delta State Governor, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori as well deserved. "The Governor deserves even more owing to his humble disposition resulting in infrastructural development, human capital development and overall welfare of Deltans."
Nze Onuora visibly elated by the Oborevwori's achievements so far since assumption of office on May 29, 2023.
In a statement made available to newsmen, the Governor's Aide acknowledged Governor Sheriff Oborevwori as a man with "Golden Heart", compassion for the people of the state stating that the recent dual awards by the Independent Newspapers was only a reassurance of his tireless efforts in the state.
He added that the MORE Agenda of the present administration is still in force stressing that the three Senatorial districts of the state is having their fair share of the state Governor's vision.
Nze Francis Onuora enjoins Deltans including Non Indigenes resident in the State to pray for the Governor to continue enjoying dividends of Democracy.
It would be recalled that the state Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori on Saturday night bagged double awards of Outstanding Independent Governor and Best Independent Governor in Urban Renewal of the Year 2025.
The prestigious Award, themed “Game Changers: Breaking Barriers, Shaping Tomorrow,” was presented at the Independent Newspapers Silver Jubilee Awards marking the organisation’s 25th anniversary. The event was held at Eko Hotels and Suites.
Governor Oborevwori, who was represented by his Deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme, described the awards as clear validation of his administration’s performance and the success of the state Government’s Developmental Agenda.
