DELTA 2027: MULADE PICKS NDC HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FORM, PROMISES PEACE, UNITY AND DEVT IN WARRI FED. CONSTITUENCY
A renowned peace and development advocate from Delta State, Comrade Mulade Sheriff, PhD, has obtained the House of Representatives Expression of Interest Form under the platform of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) to contest for the Warri Federal Constituency seat in the 2027 general elections.
The prominent Niger Delta environmental rights activist and development advocate expressed confidence in securing victory in the February 2027 polls as scheduled by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Speaking after obtaining the form, Comrade Mulade thanked God Almighty for the opportunity, dedicating the achievement to humanity and the people of Warri Federal Constituency.
Comrade Mulade who is the Ibe-Sorimowei of the ancient oil-rich Gbaramatu Kingdom also appreciated the national leadership of the party, particularly former Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, for providing him the platform to serve the people.
According to him, his aspiration is driven by the desire to promote peace, unity, development and inclusive representation among the three major ethnic nationalities in Warri Federal Constituency, which are the Itsekiri, Ijaw and Urhobo.
“I am the right person for the job at this critical moment. I stand for peace, unity, development and inclusive representation devoid of ethnic bias and segregation,” he stated
Comrade Mulade further pledged to promote peaceful coexistence, sustainable development and progress across the constituency through collaboration with traditional rulers, stakeholders and political leaders.
“I will work closely with our revered traditional rulers, stakeholders and political leaders to strengthen peace and attract meaningful development to the ancient city of Warri and its environs, which is the commercial hub of Delta State and Nigeria at large, through constructive engagement, inclusive advocacy and dialogue for collective progress,” he added
