WOMEN FROM OKPE-SAPELE-UVWIE FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY URGE LEADERS OF THE APC TO RESPECT THE PROPOSED THIRTY-FIVE PERCENT POSITION ALLOCATION TO WOMEN.

Women drawn from Okpe, Sapele and Uvwie OSU Federal Constituency have appealed to leaders of the All Progressives Congress APC to give their support to the aspiration of Right Honourable Evelyn Omavowan Oboroh Esq for the OSU Federal Constituency seat in the 2027 General Elections to strengthen the agreement of reserving thirty-five percent for women.

The OSU women in their large numbers acknowledged that the aspiration of Right Honourable Evelyn Oboroh Esq represents the interest of the women and pledged to rally support for her election bid. 

They noted that the women have long been sidelined and praised Right Honourable Evelyn Oboroh Esq for standing despite the fierce competition from the male folks.

The OSU Women reiterated their confidence on Right Honourable Oboroh Esq as one who has impacted lots of women and the youth while she represented the OSU Federal Constituency urging all to close ranks for her to emerge the APC candidate for OSU Federal Constituency.

While saying no woman no politics the women said they will continue to reach out to leaders from the OSU Federal Constituency to give women their voice in the scheme of things.

The OSU women concluded by advising party leaders to relinquish the thirty-five percent political positions to women as earlier agreed upon.
