PRESIDENT-GENERAL OF OTOR-OGOR COMMUNITY DEBUNKS FALSE ACCUSATIONS ON VIRAL VIDEO, VOICE NOTES, PROMISE TO SUE PERPETRATORS


President-General of Otor-Ogor Community in Ughelli North Local Government Area Comrade Emmanuel Uk-Edirin has pledged to continue to rid the Otor-Ogor community of drugs,substance abuse and other criminal elements with the view to sanitize the community especially the youths no matter the intimidation from perpetuators.


Comrade Uk-Edirin made this known in an interview with journalists while reacting to a video clips and voice notes circulated on social media where he was allegedly accused of being a Non Graduate without certificate,that he fraudulently acquired the piece of land belonging to the Ovie of Ogor kingdom and that he is having an affair with married women.



Stating that his administration as President-General of Otor-Ogor community has to a large extent reduced criminality to its bearest minimum Comrade Emmanuel Uk-Edirin attributed the feat to support from the Nigerian Police in Ughelli,the Local Vigilante group in Otor-Ogor community and efforts of the Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Council Olorogun Jaro Egbo.


The Otor-Ogor Community PG however stated that while residents of the community are celebrating that they can now sleep with their two eyes closed as a result of the reduced criminality in the community compared to what it used to be in the past some few individuals that makes money from the trade swore to bring him down hence they have devised various means to tarnish his image and reputation including posting  videos and voice notes on the internet accusing him of being a Non Graduate without certificate,that he stole the land where he built his house from the Ovie of Ogor kingdom and that he is having affair with some married women.


Comrade Uk-Edirin who commended the Ovie of Ogor kingdom Igere the first and the Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Council Olorogun Jaro Egbo for their efforts towards his administration's success pledged to indulge legal means on the matter inorder to seek redress.


The Otor-Ogor PG Comrade Uk-Edirin fingered Mr Peter Adjekpiyede,Mr Eku and others for being behind the alleged voice notes and videos on the social media adding that the group have also arrested him to zone 5 Benin city and was discharged as nothing was found against him.


He cited different instances in the past where Mr Adjekpiyede and his cohorts have allegedly brought the name of Otor-Ogor community to the mud including describing the community as hide out of kidnappers all to discredit his administration for standing for what is right.


Comrade Uk-Edirin disclosed that the same Peter Adjekpiyede who is bent on discrediting his personal records and administration allegedly sexually harass his cousin's wife leading to the death of the woman whose corpse is still in the mortuary as the woman's family demands that Mr Adjekpiyede build a house for their daughter before laying her to rest.


The Otor-Ogor Community President-General Comrade Emmanuel Uk-Edirin stated that a number of punishments as enumerated by the Otor-Ogor Community await Mr Adjekpiyede and his gangs owing to their involvement in certain crimes in the Otor-Ogor Community.
