DELTA @34: MULADE URGES GOVERNOR OBOREVWORI TO PRIORITIZE RIVERINE COMMUNITIES As Delta State marks its 34th anniversary, Comrade Sheriff Mulade, a peace and environmental rights advocate, has called on Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to focus on addressing the infrastructural deficit in riverine communities. According to Comrade Mulade despite generating significant revenue for the state through oil and gas and the blue economy, these communities have been largely neglected. On Infrastructure Development, Comrade Mulade urged the Delta State Governor to construct critical infrastructure, such as the Ayakoromo bridge and Omadino road, to improve connectivity and economic opportunities in riverine communities.
